Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative - The Canopy Group. Belle Plaine, Le Sueur, Minnetonka
Job Summary: The Insurance Customer Service Representative will assist our clients with service inquiries, and cross-sell additional lines of personal insurance to existing clients. The position requires superior phone and interpersonal communication skills, exceptional listening, and prior success in servicing clients on personal lines of insurance.
Essential Duties:
Receive inbound calls to assist insureds with inquiries while making changes to policies as needed, documenting in our agency management system
Place outbound calls to complete research and follow up activity and conduct annual account review
Communicate with current and potential clients, providing information, answering questions and resolving concerns
Processing policy transactions
Identify opportunities to up-sell coverage and seek cross sell opportunities
Prepare insurance proposals through rating new business and expiring policies
Assist clients in submitting loss notices and maintain follow up to ensure timely claims settlement
Compile and update client database
Maintain orderly electronic files and information, following agency procedures regarding customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of conversations, as well as actions taken. Setting suspense for those situations where it is needed.
Make sure all new business payments are submitted to the carrier for processing and policies have been issued and successfully downloaded into agency management system
Process payments
Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions
Assist agents with additional activities as assigned to achieve office growth and retention
Attend required training and continuing education programs
Job Specifications: Have strong attention to detail, effective at time management/prioritization/multi-tasking. Have strong oral and written communication skills.
Job Qualifications:
Property and Casualty Insurance license
HS Degree or equivalent
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Web-based Technology
Excellent spelling and grammar; outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Prior insurance office experience

Renewal Specialist - The Canopy Group, Le Sueur, MN
Job Responsibilities include:
Assist execution of client renewal process
Conduct ongoing client communication campaigns
Manage Front Desk as needed
Updating client management system
Rerun quotes with management system
Work with Producers to conduct annual reviews
Work with clients on annual reviews
Issues ID cards and certificates
Assist with mailings
Attach policies or endorsements to client files
Other tasks as assigned (i.e.: Letters and emails from CSR’s)
Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent customer service skills
Computer fluency with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel
Professional phone etiquette
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
Experience:
Computer skills: 2 years
Office administrative skills: 2 years
Microsoft Office proficient

New Business Processor - The Canopy Group, Belle Plaine, MN
Job Summary: Assist new clients with completing necessary paperwork to become clients of The Canopy Group.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate with current and potential clients, providing information, answering questions, and resolving concerns
Processing policy transactions
Maintain orderly electronic files and information, following agency procedures regarding customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of conversations, as well as actions taken.
